What is Harmony Cloud?
Harmony Cloud is fully managed hosting for Harmony - your own private server with zero DevOps. We handle deployment, updates, backups, and SSL certificates so you can focus on your community.
Can I self-host and migrate to Cloud later?
Yes! Contact us and we'll help migrate your existing Harmony instance to our cloud, including all your data and settings.
Do I need technical knowledge to self-host?
Self-hosting requires basic Docker and server administration knowledge. If that's not your thing, Harmony Cloud gives you the same experience with zero setup.
Do I get root/SSH access to the server?
Cloud instances are fully managed - you get admin access through the Harmony dashboard, not raw SSH. This keeps your instance secure and lets us handle updates and backups automatically.
Can I use my own domain?
Absolutely. All plans support custom domains with automatic SSL certificate provisioning. Just point your DNS and we handle the rest.
What happens if I cancel?
Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation. You can export everything or resubscribe to restore your instance.
Is federation supported?
Yes! Both self-hosted and Cloud instances are fully federation-enabled. Connect with other Harmony servers and the broader fediverse out of the box.
